The First Trailer of ‘Deadpool and Wolverine Proclaims the Antihero as the “Marvel Jesus”

The first, Deadpool and Wolverine trailer premiered during the Super Bowl.

This time Deadpool will need his buddies’ support to win over the multiverse. The first teaser and the official name of the movie were unveiled during the Super Bowl. The new name is Deadpool and Wolverine.

The video confirms the rumors that the Time Variance Authority, the multiverse-hopping organization at the center of Loki’s Disney+, will consume a significant space in the movie. And that makes Ryan Reynolds an anti-hero in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The trailer video starts with Wade Wilson celebrating his birthday and then being interrupted by a Time Variance Agent who transfers him to the TVA headquarters and registers him on a mission. And then, he was presented with Marvel heroes photos like Captain America, Iron Man, and Thor from the Marvel Studio history.

“Your small cinematic universe is going to alter forever. I am the Messiah. “I am Marvel Jesus,” Deadpool said who earlier in the movie made a joke with derogatory remarks to Marvel’s parent company, Disney.

Marvel Studios is experiencing numerous firsts with Deadpool 3. This movie will be the first such movie that is R-rated. It will also be the first movie featuring a character that had previously acted in movies developed by 20th Century Fox, the company that had the rights to movies like Fantastic Four and X-Men before Disney bought them in 2019. And while Hugh Jackman launched the present age of superhero movies with X-Men in 2000, this is the first MCU picture starring the actor, who comes out from retirement to play Wolverine.

Marvel has a lot on the line. With The Marvels dropping and Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania floundering, the studio faced enormous feature-film losses last year. (Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 was a huge blockbuster and is still a shining example.) The studio is betting that by releasing just one picture this year, it will function as a palate cleanser for viewers who may choose to return to the MCU.

Despite having lesser budgets than previous X-Men movies, the Deadpool films, which were released in 2016 and 2018, were enormous blockbusters for Fox and the highest-grossing in the franchise. This time, Emma Corrin and Matthew Macfadyen accompany Reynolds.

Movie studios perceive the Super Bowl to be the perfect launching pad since a 30-second advertisement may fetch up to $7 million during the broadcast. The fact that pop superstar Taylor Swift will be there to support her boyfriend, the Chiefs’ superb tight end Travis Kelce, makes this year’s matchup between the 49ers and the Chiefs even more compelling.

Deadpool 3 release date: It arrives in theaters July 25.
