Matthew Perry’s Final Days: Details from the Plea Deal

The plea deal Matthew Perry’s aide received exposed specifics of his last hours and the two months before his untimely death.

Thursday in Perry’s Oct. 28 death, authorities detained five individuals.

Uncovering Matthew Perry Death Last Moments

Perry’s aide Kenneth Iwamasa gave the actor a ketamine shot early on October 28 at 8:30 a.m. Perry had told Iwamasa to provide him another injection by 12:45 p.m.; the “Friends” actor watched a movie during this time.

Perry reportedly told Iwamasa, “Shoot me up with a big one,” asking for another injection around forty minutes later, per the plea bargain.

Perry received a third injection from the live-in helper when the 54-year-old was either close to or in a Jacuzzi.

Iwamasa left the house then to perform errands for Perry. The assistant discovered Perry “face down” in the Jacuzzi, dead, upon his home return.

September saw Perry first meet ketamine supplier Dr. Salvador Plasencia in Iwamasa. Allegedly, Plasencia trained the assistant how to administer Perry’s ketamine after getting it from Dr. Mark Chavez. Previously running a ketamine clinic, Chavez reportedly obtained the substance by falsifying a prescription in the name of a past patient.

Plasencia purportedly texted Chavez in text conversations revealed in the charges, “I wonder how much this moron will pay” and “Let’s find out.”

Beginning Sept. 30 to Perry’s death Oct. 28, Iwamasa paid Plasencia $55,000 for liquid ketamine and ketamine lozenges.

Multiple times before Mathew Perry Death, Perry reacted negatively to ketamine.

Following the actor’s ketamine injection from a medical practitioner, Plasencia appeared at Perry’s house with ketamine vials on October 12. Perry, who had an “adverse medical reaction,” received a “large” dosage of ketamine from Plasencia.

Plasencia allegedly instructed Iwamasa, “Let’s not do that again,” then left more vials at the house for the helper to inject.

As Mathew Perry’s addiction spun out of hand, investigators said, Iwamasa started searching for other sources of ketamine. The assistant got in touch with middleman Erik Fleming, supposedly dealing with Jasveen Sangha, on Oct. 10.

The Ketamine Crisis Unfolds

“Just got this from my person,” Fleming said in text messages in Iwamasa’s plea deal records. She deals with celebrities and high-end. She would lose her business if it weren’t an excellent product.”

Court records state that “the ketamine queen,” Jasveen Sangha, allegedly kept a stash house in North Hollywood, California, used for “manufacturing, storing, and distributing controlled substances, including methamphetamine, a Schedule II controlled substance, and ketamine, a Schedule III controlled substance.”

On October 14 Fleming reportedly provided 25 vials of ketamine and on October 24 another 25 vials. Between Oct. 24 and Oct. 27, investigators said the actor’s assistant injected Perry six to eight times daily.

Throughout October, Iwamasa discovered Perry unconscious at least two times at the actor’s residence.

Autopsy Results and Legal Consequences

According to law enforcement sources previously verified to Fox News Digital, Perry passed away on Oct. 28 from an apparent drowning at his California residence. His age was 54.

Originally labeled as “deferred,” depending on toxicology findings, the actor’s autopsy was finished on October 29 and the County of Los Angeles Department of Medical Examiner listed the cause of Mathew Perry Death as such.

Later publication of Perry’s postmortem report revealed that he died from “acute effects of ketamine,” in addition to “coronary artery disease, buprenorphine effects.”

Page Six notes that Perry’s friends and relatives assembled Nov. 3 to honor the late star at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Hollywood Hills.

As per Estrada, Iwamasa has already entered a plea deal; on Aug. 7 she admitted to one count of conspiracy to distribute ketamine causing death.

Jasveen Sangha and Plasencia have one count of conspiracy to distribute ketamine charged to them. Sangha is also charged with one count of keeping drug-involved premises, one count of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, one count of possession with intent to distribute ketamine, and five counts of distribution of ketamine.

Aug. 8 Fleming entered a guilty plea to one count of conspiracy to distribute ketamine and one count of distribution of ketamine producing death. Fleming acknowledged in court records that he delivered the ketamine killing Perry. He signed a plea agreement as well.

Under his plea deal, Chavez agreed to enter a guilty plea to one count of conspiracy to distribute ketamine. The San Diego-based physician acknowledged distributing Plasencia ketamine, including ketamine he had misappropriated from his earlier ketamine clinic.
