Jonathan Knight finally took the stage with his fellow New Kids on the Block bandmates on July 19, 2024, and a group of fans in Tampa, Florida — including an entire row full of HGTV stars — went wild for his opening night.
The concert was also supported by Knight’s biggest fans, with “Battle on the Beach” Bryan and Sarah Baeumler, Alison Victoria & Taniya Nayak as well as “100 Day Dream Home” Mika & Brian Kleinschmidt in attendance. HGTV Stars Annoyedly Complain They ‘Hurt’ After Night of Rooting for Jonathan Knight
Nayak shared a video compilation from the evening, which included glimpses of opener Paula Abdul and NKOTB performing hits new and old, as well as meeting with Abdul (and hanging out with Jonathan Knight’s brother Jordan), and singing along during another set of unforgettable songs.
”It was a teenage dream come true,” Nayak wrote in her caption. It’s a little long-winded but the good news is …you can almost split this into 2 captions:: “The best part (besides ALL of it) was spending time with our very own @hgtv fam!
His thank you read: “A night to remember with friends & loved ones at @coraleefurniture a little gathering we had this past weekend – thank you so much for letting us be part of your unforgettable day! And included his fellow HGTV stars, saying ‘Love you guys to pieces!’
Replying to Nayak’s post, Jonathan wrote: “You all don’t know how happy it was having everyone come. Love all our shows and how much we support each other!”
While the stars enjoyed a blast, they joked in Nayak’s post comments about their bodies aging overnight.
In reply, 42-year-old Mika said, “Yes definitely took me back to my youth until I woke up this morning achy as heck 😂 worth it👏”.
The 51-year-old was quick to respond, though: ‘Ha! Totally! ”The struggle was real when that old lady reality check hit us at 5 am the next morning to travel back home!”

Fans & Fellow Stars Swoon Over HGTV Friends’ Night Out
Among those happy for the HGTV stars were fans who got to see a group of her fellow network teammates rallying around Knight (and seizing on some HBPM without losing their jobs), along with just-your-usual-boss-stoked-about-his-personnel congratulatory chit-chat from newly installed SVP programming and development at HGTV Loren Ruch, who posted in response to Brian’s post: “You all make me so proud! ❤️❤️🙌🙌”
“Haha I love how the HGTV family all came out to support Jonathan in his other job,” commented one fan of the network. ❤️❤️”

Jonathan (his “Farmhouse Fixer: Camp Revamp” spin-off recently ended in early July) will remain on the road for NKOTB’s Magic Summer Tour through Aug. 25. The band will also play the iHeart Radio Festival in Las Vegas on September 21.
