Lenny Kravitz Honoured With Star On The Hollywood Walk Of Fame On Tuesday

Lenny Kravitz, the actor, musician, and style icon, got a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Tuesday.

In the 1990s, Kravitz became tremendously successful, collecting four Grammy awards and putting out eleven albums. This year, he earned a nomination to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

During the event on Tuesday, Kravitz recalled how, when he was a kid, he would often travel up and down Hollywood Boulevard and see the names of her idols. “I never dreamt of being a star. Most of the time, all I sought was somewhere to crash. However, I did fantasize about making my music and following my road.”

Zoe Kravitz, his daughter with ex-wife Lisa Bonet, joined him on stage and poked fun at his outfit choices.

“I’ve seen the way you show up and take care of the people you love,” she commented. “I’ve seen your incredible dedication to your art – but mostly, I’ve seen through your shirts.”

Denzel Washington also joined him on stage.

“God has blessed him with an unbelievable talent but even more so an unbelievable heart,” remarked Washington.

Throughout his career, Kravitz produced a lot of hit songs, but “It Ain’t Over ’til It’s Over,” “Always on the Run,” “Are You Gonna Go My Way,” and “Fly Away” are among the ones for which he is best recognized.

He made cameos in the “Hunger Games” movies as well.

For the uncountable enthusiasts who came out for the event, Kravitz signed autographs and took pictures.

“This isn’t my star,” he told the assembled crowd. “This is the star for us. Let love triumph and thank you everyone for this.”
